The Association will be installing new mailboxes and issuing new pool key cards. For your convenience, our management team will be at the party for distribution for both keys. Please bring your photo identification to the party and you will be given a new pool key card and three mailbox keys. The new pool access card and mailbox keys will be given to owners only with proper identification. If you rent your unit, the keys will be mailed to your offsite address by certified mail. The Association is not permitted to release these items to a renter.

2019 TERMITE FUMIGATION BUILDING #17/MORNING STAR & BUILDING #18/MIDNIGHT SUN
Tuesday, October 15 through Thursday, October 17, 2019
Building #17/Morning Star (2901, 2903, 2905, 2907, 2909, 2911, 2913, 2915, 2917, 2919, 2921, 2923 & 2925 Ballesteros) and Building #18/Midnight Sun (2931, 2933, 2935, 2937, 2939, 2941, 2943, 2945, 2947, 2949, 2951, 2953, 2955 & 2957 Ballesteros) will be fumigated to control dry wood termites beginning on Tuesday, October 15 through Thursday, October 17, 2019.
Mandatory briefing meetings will be held for both buildings in the Courtyard of Building #17/Morning Star at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 24 and Thursday, September 26, 2019. A responsible adult must attend one of the scheduled mandatory briefing meetings. The owner member or principal lessee must sign an agreement to the fumigator’s instructions and give the fumigator keys to each unit at either briefing meeting.
Written instructions and protective wrappers will be distributed in advance to the start of the fumigation process. Residents must vacate their units during the fumigation. The process may cause minor inconvenience to residents of other buildings. On Saturday, October 12, 2019 four parking spaces in the visitor parking area between the two buildings will be cordoned off for affected residents to store their porch and patio potted plants. These items will need to be removed by Sunday, October 20, 2019. Early morning on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 the fumigation contractor will arrive and tent the buildings. The buildings will be filled with fumigant and all units will be sealed and left undisturbed until Thursday morning, October 17, 2019. If all goes as scheduled the tenting will be removed Thursday morning, all units will be inspected and ventilated for a period, and when it is safe residents will be allowed to re-enter.
Patrol Masters will provide round-the-clock security while fumigation is in process for both buildings. The contractor’s information packet should be posted in advance on the VDV website. Until then, owners can study the bulletins posted for other recent fumigations in the Bulletins section of the VDV website.
